The 9th annual Jane’s Walks take place Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3. These walks are about community conversations that encourage participates to contribute by asking questions and sharing their passion and knowledge with other Jane’s Walk participants.

A recent article on rapid transit funding reports Mayor Bowman as saying, “…council has yet to identify where its funds will come from,” and that the administration has suggested the funds could come from raising transit fares and/or property taxes. Green Action Centre responded with a letter to the Mayor pointing to more sustainable and fair funding options.
Thirty years ago, a group of ordinary citizens came together to rally for environmental change. Their collective energy and leadership resulted in the founding of what is Green Action Centre today.
