Manitoba’s Auditor General reported that the province is on a course for failure on its promise to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 6 per cent below 1990 levels by 2012. As of 2008, Manitoba’s emissions were actually 17.6 per cent above 1990. We’re heading in the wrong direction and there’s still no plan in place to get us where we need to go.
