Find us at the Forks for Try it Out Day! 

We will be on the Nestaweya River Trail from 12pm-4pm on February 5th with rentals from Kendrick’s Outdoor Adventures.

Try fat bikes, ice bikes and snowshoes (We love the ice bikes!). The best part is, the rentals are FREE to try out! (waivers must be signed).

The first 25 registered Jack Frost participants who come visit us with receive a ticket for one complementary drink at Common or a 12oz beverage from Fools and Horses. Valid that day only!

Winnipeg Trails Ski library

Interested in trying some cross country skiing? During the winter, Winnipeg Trails runs a mobile ski library and hosts events. Check out Winterpeg,org to see upcoming events. If you want to use the library to get kilometres in, there are a handful of events during the week of the challenge, including BrewSki to the Village on the 9th and Winterfest in Central Park on the 11th. Check it out! 

Jack Frost Bingo Cards

Looking for some activity ideas for the week of Jack Frost Challenge? Check out your bingo card!

Bingo cards contain a number of activity prompts and a few fun discounts for you to do with friends or family. There is a card for Winnipeg residents, one for residents outside Winnipeg, and a card for kids if they are signed up for Jack Frost for Kids. Completing activities on the bingo card will qualify you for a specific prize category.

Follow the instructions below for the Winnipeg card and Manitoba card. Instructions for the kids card can be found here.

Share your achievements via social media (Instagram is the best place for us) with the hashtag #sayFreezeMB and tag @greenactioncentre for a chance to win! one achievement completed is one entry. Finishing a full card will get you 5 additional entries! Make sure to send us email at challenge@greenactioncentre.ca with a photo of each completed activity.
