What an incredible challenge!
Thank you again to everyone who participated in Jack Frost Challenge for Kids, it was so exciting to see the fun and creative activities folks shared with us. In total, we had 1,259 participants who completed 24,760.3 kilometres and 149 bingo activities.
We were so impressed, we wanted to share some of the challenge highlights with you! Here are just a few:
We saw kids create different kinds of snow art including snow people, animals, and coloured iced! Along with tons of quinzees and forts.
From walking and biking to school to sledding, skiing, and skating on the trails, we saw all the fun and different ways kids moved and commuted throughout the challenge.
Most Importantly, Playing! 😄
Who says you can’t have a winter playground? It was great to see all the ways kids used the snow for play!
Although the challenge is over, we still encourage kids to get outside and make the most out of the rest of the winter season. Can’t wait to see what next year brings for the 2024 Jack Frost Challenge for Kids!
