Join Green Action Centre and Transportation Options Network for Seniors for this 1-day mobility fair!
On September 13th 2023, Green Action Centre and Transportation Options Network for seniors will be hosting a mobility fair for older adults at the River Heights Community Centre from 10am-2pm. The purpose of this event is to showcase a variety of transportation options that older folks can use to maintain a healthy, independent and sustainable lifestyle.
During this free, drop in event, folks will have the opportunity to browse equipment, learn about transportation alternatives in the city, grab some take-home resources and listen to a presentation or two. Limited refreshments will be provided. Many of the vendors will be stationed outside so be sure to wear comfortable footwear and check the weather beforehand.
There will be limited bicycle parking (bring your lock!) and parking for cars. Street parking is also available. Click here to see a map of the area that includes bus stops
