Jack Frost Challenge
Kick-off at The Forks!

We will be near the Canopy rink (in the hopes for some skating!) 12pm-4pm on Sunday, February 11th with fat bikes from Kendrick’s Outdoor Adventures available to try.

The best part is, the rentals are FREE to try out! (waivers must be signed).

Jack Frost participants who come visit us will receive a a ticket for one complementary small beverage from Fools and Horses.
Valid that day only ~ first come first serve, limited quantities available

Our fingers are still crossed for some frosty weather so that there are some skating, skiing and snowshoeing options. If so we will be joining Winnipeg Trails who hosts “Learn To Winter” every Sunday at The Forks ~ weather permitting.

And THERE’S MORE!!!
We will have cornhole set up to enjoy just in case Winterpeg weather doesn’t come through for us, AND a sweet exclusive prize draw for participants who stop by to enter.

To close off the Jack Frost Challenge we invite you to join us for some fun in the snow (or sun…) on Saturday, February 17th.

SPACE IS LIMITED!

Your ticket will include: complimentary admission (giving you access to the many trails available, get those final kilometres in!), fat tire biking and marshmallow roasting around a bonfire. If we get some cold weather and snow you’ll be able to enjoy snowshoeing and the toboggan slide!

The event will be from 1:00 – 4:00 pm (activities will be happening from about 1:30 – 3:30 pm) on Saturday, February, 17th, 2024.

Jack Frost Bingo Cards

Looking for some activity ideas for the week of Jack Frost Challenge? Check out your bingo card!

Bingo cards contain a number of activity prompts and a few fun discounts for you to do with friends or family. There is a card for Winnipeg based activities, and one general Manitoba winter sheet. Completing activities on the bingo card will qualify you for the Bingo Prize Pack! We also have some awesome local businesses that have given a discount to those that show their Bingo cards.

Bingo cards have been sent via email to registered participants, if you can’t find yours please contact us. Follow the instructions below for the Winnipeg card and Manitoba card.

Share your achievements via social media (Instagram is the best place for us) with the hashtag #sayFreezeMB and tag @greenactioncentre for a chance to win! Each achievement completed is one entry, so the more you do the more chances to win!
