Registration for Walktober 2022 is now open and the Sustainable Transportation Active and Safe Routes to School team at Green Action Centre invites you to join us from October 1st-31st, 2022 to celebrate! With International Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, we have a full month of programming prepared to share with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
Walktober focuses on creating healthy routines of active transportation within the community and is an opportunity for students to explore their neighbourhood, get active before and after school, and build confidence by safely walking or biking to school.
