The results are in for the 2022 Commuter Challenge! We received one perfect week of weather for the Challenge and Manitobans showed up in full force to enjoy the onset of summer weather, get active and make a positive impact!

The 2022 Commuter Challenge saw:

  • 3,053 individuals register,
  • 339 teams, with 182 of those in Winnipeg alone
  • 322,556 kilometres of active or sustainable trips were completed,
  • And these activities avoided 65,013 Kg of Co2 from going into the atmosphere!

Awarded to the individual with the highest number of logged kilometres during the challenge week of June 5 – 11, 2022.

Only those who registered as solo/unaffiliated participants are eligible.
Driving km’s (Carpooling and Transit for example) and walking km’s are adjusted to approximate biking distances per hour to even out the competition.
