From June 3-9, thousands of Manitobans chose to walk, run, cycle, rollerblade, paddle, telecommute, ride the bus or carpool to work. Over 6,000 employees at 233 workplaces across Manitoba participated in this annual, friendly competition. Check out the workplace results here and find out whether Winnipeg retained its gold title and what other Manitoba community came in first in its population category!

Being new to Winnipeg I think I see it in a different light. I have been bike commuting in Central Ontario where I feel there is both more traffic and more aggressive traffic. It comes as a pleasant shock to have people stop their cars to let me cross streets without me having to press crossing signals.
