The province picked Bike to Work Day this past Friday, June 22, to announce its three-year action plan on Active Transportation in Manitoba and introduce the new provincial point person for AT. Highlights include new funding and technical support for municipalities, an Interdepartmental Ministers’ Steering Committee, and a provincial AT policy that includes design guidelines for infrastructure.
