Do these prizes differ by the city/town you’re registered in?
Hi there, the prizes do not differ by the city/town you’re registered in. However, we will do our best to accommodate all prize winners from outside of Winnipeg to ensure they receive a prize that will work for them and their location. This will be evaluated on an individual basis. I hope this answers your question!
You have special prizes for walking, cycling and transit but nothing for tele-commuting. Perhaps it should get equal billing as it is greener than transit (and the only non-driving option for some who have offices with no public transit and are too far to walk or cycle such as some of the small centre/rural offices).
Hi Brian, this is a great recommendation! Thank you very much for your input. Unfortunately, most of our prizes are donated and we did not receive prizes that we felt would aid telecommuters specifically. If you have any prize recommendations for that category, we are happy to explore those options.
Thanks again,
Nicole.
