Interim Executive Director

Effective September 7, Deborah Clark resigned as Executive Director of Green Action Centre. We thank Deborah for her time and efforts, and we wish her the best in her future endeavors.

The Board of Green Action Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Beth McKechnie as Interim Executive Director effective September 27. She will be serving in a part-time capacity while still managing her responsibilities with the First Nations Waste Minimization program. As Interim Executive Director, she will be the liaison between the staff and the Board during this transition period.

Beth has over 16 years of experience with Green Action Centre, serving across multiple programs and initiatives including Sustainable Transportation, Waste Reduction, and Marketing/Communications. We know that her experience, calm demeanor, and existing relationships with both staff and external parties will provide great value and stability as we move towards hiring a full-time Executive Director in the coming months.

The Board of Directors look forward to supporting and working closely with Beth in this interim period and thank her for her ongoing dedication to Green Action Centre.
