Sean long resisted the label of “bike guy” in his circles, but has since come to embrace it. He believes in simple living both for its personal benefits and lighter impact on the earth.
Sean practices yoga, writes, and tries to learn more about every interesting subject he comes across—which is all of them.

Derrick Cundy aka Derrick McCandless is the newest addition to the Compost Winnipeg team. Derrick enjoys building things with wood and metal – anything from bikes to guitars. Derrick would like to leave the smallest human footprint possible, and loves recycling materials to build other useful devices. Keeping useful resources out of the landfill is one of Derricks passion. Music is the other, and you may see Derrick performing solo or with other bands. Derrick encourages anyone with an idea, be it a weird build idea or a musical project , to get in touch with him.
Sean and Derrick are both now fully into the swing of things and looking forward to adding to our green work. Welcome aboard!
