Check out this year’s prize list for Commuter Challenge!

How to Win Prizes

 

  • You must log your sustainable and active KMs online at www.commuterchallenge.ca
    (like last year, you can log your commute and your transportation related trips)
  • Additionally, you can use the GoManitoba app or website to track your trips for more chances to win
  • And/or Post pictures and videos to social media using the hashtag #CommuterChallengeMB

Check out each of the prize categories specifications on how to qualify for as many prizes as possible!

Grand Prizes

Any Winnipeg resident who logs their sustainable KMs during Commuter Challenge 2022 is eligible to win!

Grand Prize: Two Any-Day passes to Winnipeg Folk Festival 2023

Grand Prize: Two night stay at Wild Skies Resort

Grand Prize: FREE Bus Pass for a Year with Winnipeg Transit

 

 

Workplace Prize

How to Win: All workplaces taking part in the Commuter Challenge have a chance to win! The GOLD workplace within each population category will be entered into a random draw where winners will be selected.

 

Individual Prize

Participate as an individual/unaffiliated for a chance to win this category

Only those who registered as solo/unaffiliated participants are eligible.

 

Team Prize

Log kilometres and be entered to win. Teams can be part of a workplace or outside of a workpalce.

Only those teams with 1-5 persons are eligible.

 

Telecommuting Prizes 

How to Win: Log telecommuting kilometres for working from home during Commuter Challenge week at www.commuterchallenge.ca. Everyone who telecommutes during the week has a chance to win! 

 

Walking Warrior Prizes

How to Win: Everyone who walks during the week and logs their trip has a chance to win!

 

Cycling Superstar Prizes

How to Win: Ride your bike to work, to the store, or to bring the kids to school during Commuter Challenge week and log your kilometres at www.commuterchallenge.ca.
Everyone who rides their bike during the week has a chance to win!

 

Transit Trooper Prizes 

How to Win: Ride the bus  during Commuter Challenge week and log your kilometres at www.commuterchallenge.ca. Everyone who rides the bus during the week has a chance to win!

 

GoManitoba Prizes

How to Win: Use the GoManitoba app throughout the Commuter Challenge week to connect with walking, cycling, and/or busing mentors and track your trips!

 

Bonus Manitoba-Wide Prizes 

How to Win: Make sustainable commutes and trips during Commuter Challenge week and log your kilometres at www.commuterchallenge.ca. Everyone who participates and lives outside of Winnipeg has a chance to win! 3 winners will be selected.

  •  $25 gift card to a business of your choosing (if it can be purchased online and sent to you)

 

Participation Prizes

How to Win: Make sustainable commutes and trips during Commuter Challenge week and log your kilometres at www.commuterchallenge.ca. Everyone that participates has a chance to win! 3 winners will be selected.

  • A $25 gift card to a business of your choosing

 

Driving km’s (Carpooling and Transit for example) and walking km’s are adjusted to approximate biking distances per hour to even out the competition.

We will do our best to make prize adjustments for persons across the province. If something doesn’t work for a winner, we will simply find them something that does.

      Hi there!

      You can log your kilometer’s at CommuterChallenge.ca. If you have not signed up, you can do so under the “individual” portal and then log your kilometers under the portal that says “login”. There are also links on our Commuter Challenge page.
