Earth Day – April 22: A day to celebrate our planet and remember how important it is that we protect it. After all (as the student strikers continue to remind us), there is no planet B.
We are hosting a come-and-go event on Earth Day from 11:30am – 1:30pmin Downtown Winnipeg (Earth Day Eats), but recognize that this location and time may not work for everyone. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of 2019 Earth Day events happening around Manitoba. Not able to make it to any of these events? Check out our recent blog “21 Ways to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint” and spend part of your Earth Day thinking about ways in which you can personally reduce your impact on our planet.
Note: not all events are taking place right on April 22.
Unfortunately, we do not know of any Earth Day events happening outside of Winnipeg. Know of one? Let us know!
