Do you have extra fruit that you just don’t know what to do with? Don’t let it go to waste, register your fruit tree or bush with Fruit Share Manitoba and share it!
Fruit Share is a local, volunteer organization that matches fruit tree owners with volunteer pickers. The fruit is then shared, with 1/3rd going to the owner, 1/3rd to the picker, and 1/3rd to local charities. Fruits they are looking for include rhubarb, raspberries, baking apples, eating apples, crab apples, nanking cherries, and more.
If you would like to register your fruit with Fruit Share, you can fill out their Fruit Registration Form. If you are interested in volunteering to pick and take home some fruit, fill out the Volunteer Registration Form.

Happy picking!
I just registered. We have picked all the apples we can reach. The rest are too high, plus we have more than we need. If someone has the ability to reach the highest branches the apples are yours.
Hi if there are some apples I have a 10′ ladder for the high ones
We have a Goodland Apple tree in the backyard. I’ve picked all the ones I can reach with a small ladder, but the biggest, juiciest ones are there for the picking if you have a tall ladder. Feel free, but check with me first to make sure they are still there. In East Kildonan.
thanks to share….
