This year, over 17,000 Canadians registered for the annual sustainable commuting event, Commuter Challenge! In this challenge, Manitoba goes head to head with every province and territory in Canada to compete for the highest percentage of participants.Green Action Centre

The results are in and Manitoba has been named the top province in Canada!

Congratulations to every Manitoban who took part, we couldn’t have done it without you.

RESULTS

This year, 454 workplaces and 6,372 people registered for the Commuter Challenge across the province. Together, Manitobans travelled 480,131 KM, which avoided 78,408 Kg of CO2 emissions being added to the atmosphere by choosing to commute sustainably!

To see how we did compared to other Canadians cities and provinces, see the detailed results on the national Commuter Challenge website.
