This June 1st, Manitoba’s Climate Action Team presents… Local Food + Laughs: A Comedy Night at Home! Join us for a night full of laughs amidst these times of uncertainty.
We are here to raise awareness about the climate crisis while spreading some light in these isolated times. To make this event as accessible as possible, we are offering a few ticket options for guests… with the option to purchase a delicious, locally sourced dinner from Sous Sol! (Vegan option available) Each dinner purchase directly supports food sovereignty in Manitoba! If cost is a barrier, please reach out to info@climateactionmb.ca.
Bike courier delivery service available for central Winnipeg. See here for a map of the delivery service area. Those outside of the delivery area who wish to purchase a meal with their ticket are welcome to pick up their order at Sous Sol (22-222 Osborne St) at 6 pm. Manitoba’s Climate Action Team (CAT) is a coalition of environmental organizations in Manitoba working to create a road to climate resilience in our province. Member groups came together in late 2017 to independently review and consult with the public over the Province’s recently released Climate and Green Plan.
Coalition members include Climate Change Connection, Wilderness Committee – Manitoba Office, Green Action Centre, Manitoba Energy Justice Coalition and Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives – Manitoba Office.
