2017 Commuter Challenge Results: Manitoba wins!

Another amazing Commuter Challenge has come and gone – 19,244 Canadians registered for the annual green commuting event! Manitoba dominated the challenge once again with 7,242 people registered. Congrats to everyone who signed up to participate! Because of you, Manitoba represented OVER 1/3 of the total National participation numbers! Thank you for supporting sustainable commuting by literally walking your talk – and biking, busing, carpooling and tele-commuting 😉 In addition to this shining achievement as a province, Winnipeg also won for top performing city.

Together in Manitoba we traveled +575,00KM and avoided over 94,000 Kg of CO2 with our green commuting. Imagine if we kept this up all year round! Together we can achieve amazing things when we challenge ourselves to do the right thing for people and the planet. In Manitoba – 498 workplaces participated in the challenge this year which is an additional 70 new workplaces who signed up compared to last year!
