#Busisbetter and we want to encourage all our downtown businesses
to leave their cars behind, not only for just the
Commuter Challenge Week, but for the whole year.
From May 31st to June 6th we invite you to take part in the Commuter Challenge, and then as a token for your efforts, the Downtown Biz will be distributing free bus passes for participants to carry on their sustainable commuting during the week of June 8th to 12th. The Downtown BIZ is asking existing transit users to nominate their fellow downtown co-workers (who would usually drive to work) to take part in #busisbetter. 300 – gift certificates (to be redeemed for a 5-day transit
pass) to be awarded to those nominated. Green Action Centre has again partnered with the Downtown Biz to bring the #busisbetter campaign to downtown commuters. The deadline to get your nominations in is June 2nd. These will be handed out on a first come first serve basis.

Hi!
The transit is having a strike can there be a reimbursement or compensation for customers or riding to drug stores, food banks, grocery to have peg city car coop, taxis and Domo trolley from our residence to major public places such as malls, parks, restaurants, by appointment and online booking?
Hi Sedona,
Apologies, but Green Action Centre is not in a position to address that. We hope the strike can be resolved shortly!
