On Saturday March 9th, Green Action Centre’s Master Composter volunteers will be at Seedy Saturday to answer your composting questions! You will also have the opportunity to view our new How-to-Compost video, starring our wonderful Master Composter Linda Olson. The video will be shown after the two short films “Seeds of Freedom” and “Sanctity of the Seed” which start at 1:30pm.
This event has lots to offer. You’ll be able to participate in the seed exchange, learn about local seed varieties, visit displays and attend free workshops on seed saving. The event is from 10am-3pm at the Canadian Mennonite University (600 Shaftesbury, South Campus – Chapel and Conference room). For more information, visit the Winnipeg Seedy Saturday website.
Would like to know when you’ll have another seedy saturday.
Hi Paulette,
Seedy Saturday in Winnipeg happens usually once a year in March and is organised by Winnipeg Community Garden Network and The Friends of Gardens Manitoba.
