The City of Winnipeg is giving away FREE compost, made from your leaf and yard waste, and from food waste that was collected from residents participating in the City’s Residential Food Waste Collection Pilot Project! This high-quality, tested and sifted compost is ready to use on your lawn or garden. Available while supplies last!
- Bring your own containers, shovel, and gloves – prepare to get a little dirty!
- Limit of 100 litres of compost per vehicle (approximately five 19-litre/5-gallon pails)
- Event is for Winnipeg residents only

- Kilcona Dog Park
- Summit Road closed landfill site
