Grab your snowshoes, lace up your skates, and log kilometres of outdoor physical activity between February 1st and 14th for a chance to win some great prizes! You can log any kind of outdoor fun– skating, skiing, walking, biking, cycling, snowball fighting, and even the not so fun like shovelling snow! If it gets you moving outside, be sure to log it!
You can take on the challenge individually, or form a team of up to five people for some extra fun and support! All you need is a GoManitoba account to start logging your kilometres. Check out our new How-To Guide for information on how to make an account and register for the challenge.
If you’re looking for fun ways to put in some kilometres, check out our Community Calendar for a list of cool events taking place in Manitoba this February!
For those participating with young kids, or teachers looking to get their classrooms involved, check out Jack Frost for Kids for some fun bonus activities.
The goal of Jack Frost is to reach 130kms by the end of the challenge, but we know that pushing yourself looks different for everyone. If the 130km goal feels like a barrier, we encourage you to set a goal that feels a little more achievable. You are eligible to win prizes whether you reach 130kms or not!
The prizes are, of course, the most exciting part of any Jack Frost Challenge! A huge thank you to all the wonderful local businesses who donated prizes this year, including Rumor's Comedy Club, Leopold's Tavern, the Manitoba Museum, Flying Squirrel, Across the Board, Get Out Escape Rooms, Oh Doughnuts, and Domino's Pizza!
Prize List:
Most Kilometres - Individual: a $100 grocery gift card
Most Kilometres - Individual Runner-Up: a $75 gift card to the Downtown Winnipeg Biz
Most Kilometres - Team: a free admission to Get Out Escape Rooms, a $25 gift card to Leopold's Tavern and a $25 gift card to Tim Hortons for each team member

Photo Prize Contest* - Prize Pack from Across the Board
...and more individual and team participation prizes from the Manitoba Museum, Tim Hortons, Chaeban, Prairie Sky Books, Little Sister Coffee Maker, Thom Bargen, and Fort Whyte!
The Jack Frost for Kids Challenge has great additional prizes from Oh Doughnuts, Flying Squirrel, Domino's Pizza, and more!
*share your pictures of your Jack Frost Challenge adventures using #jackfrostchallenge2026 for a chance to win! We may even feature your photo on our social media!
So get outside and start logging those kilometres for two weeks of winter fun!
