Are you an environmental leader or a group of youth looking to take environmental action in Manitoba?

The Manitoba Environmental Youth Network is looking for environmental leaders who have experience in helping successfully complete an environmental project. Leaders will be paid and trained in an array of valuable skills necessary in order to become a leader in Manitoba. After gaining valuable skills leaders will assist a small group of young Manitobans in implementing a similar project and creating positive environmental change in Manitoba. The youth network will help with funding and any necessary fundraising/grant proposals. We will find you an eager mentee group and ensure that working together you successfully complete a project.

The Mentorship position is a flexible roll and can accommodate your schedule. It is also a great opportunity to gain valuable work skills/experience needed for your future roll as a leader in Manitoba.

Your creativity will define your project.
Projects may include: Water Conservation, Renewable Energy implementation, Composting programs, ect.

Pay Scale: $250 – $350
Positions Available: 4
Tentative Schedule (may vary with your personal schedule):
Mentors will be trained in March
and begin implementing projects in September
