This winter we have the opportunity to explore what our own backyards have to offer!

Please note non essential travel even within Manitoba is not recommended, please keep up to date with local and provincial wide restrictions surrounding covid-19 and code red, follow the rules and restrictions as advised and practice safe physical distancing. More information on current restrictions are available here.

We advise you to confirm current operating status of any places you decide to explore, and what restrictions they may have that you should be aware of. Please ensure you practice winter and ice safety precautions, this year has been warmer than normal and ice may be thin.
And make sure you bundle up so that you stay safe and warm!

Manitoba has so many hidden gems and there are tons of exciting winter activities you can take part in. Don’t let the weather get you down, embrace our winter wonderland! We’ve rounded up some great resources for you to check out, from snowshoeing and hiking, to skiing and biking! We will continue to add to this list as we hear of more activities available.

This month it is easy for you to check out our parks, during the month of February there is free admission to all of our Manitoba Provincial Parks. This is perfect timing to get out and explore during Jack Frost Challenge! Here is your list of 13 Provincial Parks you should visit
