Fewer youth choosing to drive

Studies in the US are showing a steady decline in the numbers of young people choosing to get their driver’s license. The reasons for this decline include things like economics and environmental concerns, however technology also is having an impact. In today’s connected world you can stay in contact with your friends electronically, so there is less need to drive to get together with them. In fact, some young people are finding that driving actually interferes with their texting and other communication.
