Transportation Master Plan – Open House

How we get around our city is a hot topic that affects every resident in Winnipeg. The City’s first ever and soon-to-finalized Transportation Master Plan will set the course for the next couple of decades. Find out why this matters to one faithful meeting-goer, what Green Action Centre is recommending, and what ‘Complete Streets‘ are all about.

If you happen to be in town on Wednesday, July 6th, you can check out the second Open House for the City of Winnipeg’s Transportation Master Plan. Hear what other Winnipeggers have been saying and talk to City staff about where the plan is heading – there’s still time to share your thoughts and ideas.

Key areas of focus of the plan include:

  • Transit
  • Roads
  • Goods Movement
  • Active Transportation
  • Transportation Demand Management
  • Funding, Financing, and Governance
