Recycling Contest looks to attract Manitobans

Our waste-mindful friends at TerraCycle are officially in pursuit of Manitobans who like to keep their homes clean and recycle whatever waste that generates.

We’re talking about nozzle heads, folks; trigger heads from spray bottles, bottle caps, or even a used package of Swiffer wipes.

Simply send TerraCycle one or thousands of these approved items and you could win prize money. There’s no minimum quantity and the shipping is free – what’s not to love about that?

It’s all part of the new Air and Home Care Brigade, a collection program that aims to divert all packaging waste associated with home cleaning from Canadian landfills, enabling consumers to recycle previously non-recyclable material for the first time.

Find out more details about how you can participate here. While it’s a national initiative and submissions are accepted from across Canada, it would be great to see the number of Manitoba submissions rise to the top and demonstrate how much we care about waste reduction and landfill diversion. Hey, ho, let’s go!
