Re-used pop-bottle sprinkler

My neighbour decided to create a wonderful water feature for his 3 year old son from just a garden hose and a pop bottle. Simple, effective, and very fun for anyone looking to get wet and cool off, or give the garden a gentle soaking. What better way to re-purpose waste, and avoid buying new plastic products.

To seal the connection, a little duct tape around the bottle neck would do the job, or use a hose attachment with a compatible thread. The size and number of holes you make in the bottle customizes the type of spray – small holes create a fine mist which feels great in plus 30 degrees. Here’s a video that illustrates the steps to making one of your own!
