International Institute for Sustainable Development

The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) is a Canadian-based, policy focused organization involved in many local and global projects executing breakthrough research in sustainable development with their head office right here in Winnipeg!

The year 2010 marked the 20th anniversary for the IISD and the institute has seen it diversify and branch out to places like Ottawa, Ontario, New York, NY and Geneva, Switzerland since its beginning in 1990. Check out the IISD website for more information on the organization and their work.
