Green Purchasing

Purchasing choices by workplaces have a huge environmental impact. “Green purchasing” means choosing (often through a set of principles) products that are environmentally responsible for use in production and in the workplace. It can involve everything from recycled paper for the office photocopier to non-toxic cleaning products to local supplier preferment policies.
