Jack Frost Challenge for Kids 2025 is Here! ❄️🥾

Jan 06 2025

Registration is now open for The Jack Frost Challenge for Kids 2025. This year’s challenge will take place from February 9th – 15th – sign up here.

The Jack Frost Challenge for Kids is a free, week-long winter challenge for all Manitoba kids to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Personalise the challenge by participating your way. Here’s how your kids or students can have some fun in the winter weather using the Jack Frost Challenge resources:

  • Our Jack Frost Challenge for Kids Bingo Card is available here, filled with accessible and fun winter activities, such as building a snow sculpture, helping to shovel snow, and going sledding.
  • In addition, don’t forget to track your class or families’ kilometres on our tracking sheet. Skating, skiing, walking, sledding, any way that you like to move can be counted, even play!

Not only will kids have a lot of fun outside, but they also have the chance to win a number of exciting prizes – here’s how:

  • Take a photo as you complete activities on the Jack Frost Challenge Bingo Card and send them to asrts@greenactioncentre.ca to document your challenge achievements. For more chances to win, complete the entire bingo card and receive an additional 5 entries. Win the Bingo prize draw? You’ll receive a $25 Fête Ice Cream & Coffee gift card!
  • Send your completed kilometre tracking sheet asrts@greenactioncentre.ca. Prizes will be sent to the classroom, family, and individuals with the highest kilometres.

Be sure to submit both your bingo card activities and kilometre tracking sheet by no later than February 22nd, 2025 to be eligible to win our prizes.

We can’t wait to see all the fun you all will have playing in the cold!
