Celebrate International Trails Day by enjoying trails in your own backyard. Join Winnipeg Trails in a day of plogging, giving our Trans Canada Trail some much needed TLC, at the Trans Canada Trail Plog-a-thon!
Plogging is part jogging and and part picking up garbage (from the Swedish term ‘plocka upp’). It’s a perfect combo of fitness and environmental stewardship.

Location: Trans Canada Trail in Winnipeg, 3-5km section to be assigned during registration
Start: as early as you want
Finish: 3pm
Celebration and After Party

Location: Winnipeg Trails Association, 306 Edwin
Start: 3pm
End: 6pm
BBQ + Music + Prize raffle
Sign up as a solo plogger or with a team to spend a day on the trails, plogging a section of the Trans Canada Trail in Winnipeg. You’ll be designated a 3-5km stretch of the trail in Winnipeg. Start as early as you like on Saturday, June 8, just be sure to finish by 3pm to enjoy some free food and beverages at the International Trails Day Celebration and Plogging After Party at Winnipeg Trails headquarters.
