The City of Winnipeg is currently discussing road safety, looking at options for traffic calming and speed limits. 30km/h default speed limits are on the table – to support walking, biking and using transit and combat road safety issues across the city.
30km/h is the only safe speed limit when people are biking, walking, and driving on the same roads. Drop by to talk with local experts, and community leaders from Safe Speeds WPG. Ask questions, share ideas, and learn how this can work for Winnipeg.
