Getty Stewart, in partnership with the Farm and Food Discovery Centre (an extension of the University of Manitoba), will be offering a public workshop on how to reduce your food waste at home and to enjoy your food to its fullest. Getty will talk about using criteria other than Best Before Dates to determine what food to eat or toss, how to store and/or freeze common foods, and cooking techniques to use up food.
