MARR is putting together an agenda that will include 2 days of informative events to help Manitoba communities and their strategic partners to deliver successful local and regional recycling and waste reduction strategies.
Wednesday, October 12, 2015 (1pm-5pm) – Bus tour to City of Winnipeg 4Rs Depot System at Brady Road Resource Management Facility
MARR has also arranged an exclusive bus tour of the City of Winnipeg’s new one-stop 4Rs system at the Brady Road Resource Management Facility. Participants in this tour will gather at the Best Western Plus hotel and will be taken by bus the City of Winnipeg 4Rs Depot System at Brady Road Resource Management Facility where Winnipeg’s team will guide a full-access tour of all components of the operation (including composting operations, recycling and waste diversion drop-off area, biosolids management, special wastes handling, etc.)
Price: MARR Members: $30 per person*; Non-Members: $50 per person

Information Sessions and Agenda details are being developed and details will be posted soon but you can expect to hear from speakers discussing a wide range of recycling and waste reduction programs. You will also hear from Manitoba communities who will share their own experience, best practices and success stories.
