Come on out to the Fam Jam on Sunday, June 9th from 12:00-3:00 pm. The event is the launch of Bike Week Winnipeg and will help your kids learn about safe cycling, celebrate your community, and (most importantly) have fun!
Meet at Broadway Neighbourhood Centre at 12:00 pm for free hot dogs courtesy of Maryland Food Fare. This year’s Fam Jam is brought to you in partnership with Bike Week Winnipeg and includes The Wrench’s Bike Bazaar, free on-site bike mechanics, Green Action Centre’s bike blender station, a bike decorating station, the grand opening of the new West Broadway Bike Park, MPI Bike Rodeo (bike safety and obstacle course), and the Flaming Cheetahs bike obstacle course. The Bike Jam ride begins at 2:00 pm with an ice cream sandwich and apple snack break mid-way provided by Maryland Food Fare.
The event is rain or shine so please remember to dress for the weather and bring your own water. The event is free and all wheels are welcome!
