Are you new to composting? Maybe you’ve composted for a while but feel like you’re stabbing in the dark and want some reassurance. Or maybe you’ve heard about composting and just want to get some more information before you commit to it.

If so, come out to this FREE public presentation to get the down-low on how to compost at home: it’s easy, and worth it! Click this link to fill out our registration form. Can’t make it to this presentation, but interested for the future? Go here to fill out an email notification form so we can let you know once the rest of our fall series is scheduled!

We always encourage you to bus, walk, or bike to any of our events. However, if you do choose to drive, we have been informed that there is parking on Pembina Highway, in the overflow lot adjacent to Lion’s Pool, and in the 10 spaces directly behind the library. Please sign in your vehicle license plate at the front desk to avoid being ticketed.

Did you know that adding organics to the landfill produces methane, a greenhouse gas 25x more powerful than carbon dioxide? By composting, you can produce rich garden fertilizer for free at home, and help save the planet to boot!

This English-language presentation is one hour, and will feature time for your questions and light refreshments. Contact us at compost@greenactioncentre.ca if you have any questions! Looking for a presentation in French? Drop us a line; we can offer that too!
