HANDBOOK

This handbook serves as a roadmap for organizing events, activities, and educational initiatives centred around clean air and sustainable living.

PLEDGE

Take a pledge as a family, classroom, or individual to do something that’s good for your body and the planet.

The Air Quality Health Index

The Air Quality Health Index is a tool used to measure Air Quality in any given area. Coordinated by Health Canada and Environment Canada, It is calculated based on the relative risks of three common air pollutants that are known to harm human health: Ozone (O3), Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5), and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2). The index acts as an important resource when planning an outdoor event, such as Clean Air Day. With stronger weather events occurring due to a changing climate, tools like this one are more important than ever.
