We had a great International Walk to School Month (IWALK) this past October and approximately 70 schools across Manitoba participated in the worldwide event, so it is now time to announce the school prize winners! Participating schools celebrated IWALK by walking or biking to school during the month of October to bring awareness to the many benefits of active transportation. Winning schools were randomly drawn after participating in the event and submitting their tally sheets. Prizes are generously made possible with donations from Bikes&Beyond, Mountain Equipment Co-op, MPI and Manitoba Healthy Schools in Motion!
