Make your own scrubber

Make a bath scrubber from a fruit nylon-mesh bag! These scrubbers make use of fruit nylon-mesh bags which would normally be thrown in the garbage. They are easy to make and last for a long time.

What you will need:

  • 1 or 2 nylon- mesh bags
  • Needle
  • Strong nylon thread or fishing line
  • Scissors

Step 1:

Fold a nylon-mesh bag into the size you want. Usually you would fold it many times but the final dimensions are up to you. Add a second bag if you want to increase its thickness.

Step 2:

With a long piece of thread, sew the sides together and also weave the thread throughout the middle of the scrubber so that the mesh stays together. Once you are happy with its firmness, tie a knot and cut the excess thread. It’s that simple!
