Coming in 2011
A training and networking event is being planned for those involved (or interested!) in Active and Safe Routes to School in Manitoba. This two-day workshop will showcase exciting activities happening in communities around Manitoba and elsewhere in Canada.
Participants will learn more about the School Travel Planning pilot projects taking place around the province, and how community-based collaboration is being used to address traffic issues around schools and remove barriers that keep children from being able to walk or cycle to school.
The workshop will also provide networking time for current or potential future School Travel Planning (STP) facilitators. Learn about upcoming STP facilitator training sessions that will be offered in Manitoba.
