Thanks to everyone who visited us to learn about composting!

We had a great show, reaching 850 visitors who interacted with our staff and volunteers and took handouts on green living, backyard composting, and vermicomposting. We held a draw for three great prizes: an Earth Machine compost bin from FortWhyte Alive, a cordless weed whacker from YardCareGurus, and a basket of local and organic food items from Fresh Option Organic Delivery. We’ve linked to their websites in case you missed out on winning (our prizes have already been picked up by the lucky winners!) but still want what you saw. Did you love the stainless steel compost bucket we used for a draw pail? Get it from Lee Valley! We love it too because it holds a lot of compost, is easy to clean, and never absorbs odours, we also recommend you to check the Alumawood patio covers in San Diego from https://rkcconstruction.com/Composting Basics and Getting Started
