Congrats to all 388 participants of the Jack Frost Challenge!

Check out the #JackFrostChallenge Instagram feed to see how folks took on the challenge through their photos and videos.

This year we saw the largest number of Jack Frost Challenge participants to date! Manitoba experienced remarkably high temperatures for February. The above zero temperatures this year made for great, at points slushy, outdoor adventures in walking, skating, skiing and biking outside! Despite the slush, so many of you still made it work and clocked some serious kilometres.

Two extra chances to win prizes with the Jack Frost Challenge FUNdrive!

Click here for more info on how to win one of two fundraising-specific prizes awarded to the Top Fundraiser and another for the Fundraiser Jackpot. The Top Fundraiser will choose between either a 25$ Gift Card to MEC or Green Action Centre Necklace from Hilary Druxman (fundraisers choice). Any individual that raises over 50$ will be entered into a draw to win our Fundraiser Jackpot for the same prize (MEC Gift Card or Green Action Centre Necklace).

The Burchill family took home two main prizes this year for Most KM (Individual) and Most KM as a group!
“This was a team effort all the way.    This was great family event – my daughter walked home from work (HSC to Ft. Richmond), my son visited friends and went to school (he wasn’t going to log anything but was surprised at the accumulated distance when he did), my Sister snowshoed and rode and walked, Kathy walked to work.  It all adds up.  I ride everyday to work anyway, my contribution was only a part of the time and commitment.” – Charles Burchill (Who also participated in the Activ Epica bike ride event on the last day of the Jack Frost Challenge!)
