This environmental film festival begins on the evening of Friday, Feb. 3, at the West End Cultural Centre (586 Ellice Avenue) showcasing an award winning documentary followed by the Anne Lindsey Protecting Our Earth awards ceremony and reception. Tickets $20.

The festival continues on Saturday, Feb 4 at the University of Winnipeg (Lockhart Hall) with many environmental films and a chance to visit booths from local environmental organisations. Tickets $12.

Green Action Centre is sponsoring the film Burning Water a documentary of one family’s fight in Rosebud, Alberta to stop the nightmare of natural gas contamination of their drinking water that makes the water inflammable. Saturday, February 3 at 12:15 pm.
