Environmental Law Workshop

Workshop — Building a visionary environmental law
Manitoba EcoCentre (303 Portage Ave, 3rd Floor)
Wednesday, November 9th, 2016
2:00-4:00 pm

*REGISTRATION REQUIRED*

Please join this important community-based workshop. Hosted by the West Coast Environmental Law and Winnipeg partner organizations, this workshop will help us prepare for public participation in the federal government’s review of environmental assessment processes.

WCEL staff lawyer Anna Johnston will describe the expert review of environmental assessment processes and provide leading-edge solutions for the way we make environmental decisions.

Come out to this workshop to help you prepare for the Expert Panel’s visit to Winnipeg on November 16 and 17, 2016. Learn more about the federal review and how it works. Share your ideas about environmental laws that work for communities, for the environment, for the future. Get technical support from people who are familiar with how things have unfolded in other communities across Canada.

To sign up for this free workshop, please contact the Wilderness Committee, Manitoba office:
phone: (204) 942-9292

Registration is limited, so please sign up early!
